CONGRATULATIONS JOLLY FAMILY

On behalf of the entire Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums, and our families, I would like to congratulate the Jolly family, who joined our band a little over two years ago, on becoming Australian Citizens.

On Sunday 26 January 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted an exclusive Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony at Government House.

Australian citizenship represents a commitment to Australia and its people, the values we share and our common future. Since the first Australian Citizenship ceremony was hosted in 1949, more than 6 million people have chosen to become Australian.

Becoming an Australian citizen is a major decision involving commitment, responsibility and public recognition. We congratulate the Jolly family on making their decision to become Australian citizens.

Also in attendance for the Jolly family from the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums was the President Mr Tim Badger and the Drum Sergeant Mr Justin Mannering.
