2023 st Mary’s spring festival

On Saturday 02 September 2023, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums were invited to perform at the 2023 St Mary’s Spring Festival . The festival is a community based event that showcases local businesses and performers and is a major annual event.

On offer were stalls, food, rides, entertainment and of course the grand parade in which we were involved. A special thanks goes out to our friends at Southern Cross Pipes and Drums and the Police Pipes and Drums who joined us on the day. It as fantastic event and a huge learning curve for a number of our members early in their piping and drumming careers. On the day we had our drum major leading the team, 11 pipers and 6 drummers on display.
